Platform Design Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology industry, is seeking a Platform Design Engineer to join their team. As a Design Engineer, you will be part of the Platform Design Engineering Department supporting hardware and software integration teams.

** What's the Job?*
* + Support future System on Chip (SoC) power and performance feature development through lab execution and validation.

+ Set up and maintain open-box motherboard systems, including BIOS, OS, drivers, and software stacks.

+ Perform hardware troubleshooting, system bring-up, and validation of hardware components.

+ Develop and improve test methodologies, automation scripts, and frameworks.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design specifications and performance goals are met.

** What's Needed?*
* + Strong programming fundamentals with experience in C/C++, scripting languages such as Python.

+ Understanding of CPU and APU architecture, including processor fundamentals and power/performance concepts.

+ Hardware troubleshooting skills with familiarity in motherboard diagnostics, BIOS updates, and system bring-up.

+

Experience with lab environments, hardware testing, and automation frameworks.

+ Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills to communicate technical information clearly.
