Role and Responsibilities Team Leadership
Develop, mentor, and influence a team of 5+ engineers and project managers, fostering a collaborative and safety‑conscious work environment.
Safety & CompliancePromote a process safety mindset and ensure compliance with site air permits, driving abatement efficiencies to meet world‑class standards. Oversee equipment quality to meet fab production requirements.
Project ManagementOversee project development and execution within the exhaust systems scope, including engineering design, cost estimating, financial management, and system documentation.
Operational SupportProvide day‑to‑day support for operational, maintenance, and engineering issues within Facilities Operations Maintenance (FOM). Monitor and address quality and capacity concerns across systems and seek out innovative concepts and technologies to improve system and operational efficiency.
Strategic PlanningForecast system capacity needs based on current and future demand projections and develop plans to accommodate these needs through capital improvement projects. Provide guidance to personnel, management, and executives on technical projects and large‑scale changes.
Incident ResponseLead root‑cause analysis and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to contain and correct problems. Lead Task Force Teams (TFT) to solve critical inter‑departmental problems or initiatives.
Process ImprovementImplement processes and procedures to improve and standardize work across the team and site.
Industry EngagementContribute to the industry through professional organizations and conferences, sharing insights and best practices.
Work Schedule1st shift, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in plant operations, reliability engineering, or design engineering.
- Knowledge of site air permits, process safety, and electric/fabrication equipment quality.
The base salary range for this role is $76,000 to $145,000, depending on duties, location, education, skills, qualifications, and experience. Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs.
