Cleans Equipment Engineer

Job Summary

The Cleans, Wet Etch, Plate Equipment Engineering opportunity is in a high-volume semiconductor wafer manufacturing environment, requiring ownership and responsibility for equipment support in the manufacturing of cleans, wet etch, and plate equipment.

• Ownership and responsibility for equipment support in manufacturing of cleans, wet etch, and plate equipment.
• Thorough technical understanding of cleans, wet etch, and plate equipment.
• Interface and effectively communicate with equipment suppliers, maintenance, manufacturing, and engineering organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve difficult equipment problems.
• Experience in problem solving methods and statistical methods, tool installation, and qualification.
• Identifying and reducing sources of variation.
• Preventing and reducing wafer scrap.
• Ability to drive defect reduction.
• Improve tool reliability and availability.
• Improve equipment monitoring and control to reduce variation.
• Developing and writing specifications and standard work documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Recommend and implement procedures to monitor and improve equipment performance.
• Implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
• Improve the performance of equipment to meet the requirements of the factory.
• Strong desire to help create a positive, winning, world‑class working environment.

• Minimum of a B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Prefer three or more years of equipment engineering experience.
• Experience with JMP or equivalent statistical analysis software.
• Experience with GAMA/SCP 9400/E200/8500, Dai Nippon SCREEN hood or equivalent equipment.
• Experience with FSI Mercury, Semitool SAT, SST SEZ SP201, Semitool Raider BSE, Semitool Raider CuDeveil, LAM Davinci, Semitool LT210, or LAM Sabre XT or equivalent.
