Manufacturing​/Engineering Techs - Semiconductor Swing, Weekend

$22 - 26 per hour - Hiring NOW for Weekends Day and Swing, and Weekdays too! Differential paid!

Manufacturing Technicians and Engineering Techs are needed for an 18‑month contract with the leading manufacturer of ion implanters in Austin, Texas. Relevant work experience is required and hands‑on work is a must.

2 + years of experience and:

• Experience testing and troubleshooting assembly of electronics and electro‑mechanical systems, design circuitry, prototype models
• Troubleshoot system‑level and component‑level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub‑systems
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics

• Perform routine to moderately complex electro‑mechanical tasks such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro‑mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models, specialized test equipment, tools and test fixtures.
• Test and troubleshoot system‑level and component‑level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub‑systems.
• Perform new system and NPI installations and field upgrades.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or plans to perform routine testing and troubleshooting.
• Compile logbooks and test procedure documentation using good writing skills.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on company platforms per engineering and manufacturing documentation and specifications.
• Become familiar with current manufacturing and/or engineering processes and stay informed of any changes in procedures; assist in correcting problems.
• Perform rework as a result of testing.
• Generate quality notifications.

Min: $16.80, Max: $24.00 per hour.
