Position Summary

In the Test Solutions (TS) organization of the Hardware Engineering Discipline, you will support the design, development, integration, and repair of electronics for on‑site factory operations of Electro‑Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) test systems. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to develop electrical and interconnect designs, integrate and verify EO/IR test system hardware, and ensure reliable performance throughout production testing.

This position is 100% on site in McKinney, Texas.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot hardware for test equipment development.
  • Maintain test equipment systems in a factory/production environment.
  • Collaborate with team to develop test systems, cabling, test interface adapters (ITAs), circuit designs, schematic creation, and documentation.
  • Support design improvements, integration, validation, verification, and maintenance of special test equipment (STE).
  • Prioritize, handle, and lead multiple tasks in a production environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with analysis, test, troubleshooting, and interpreting schematics.
  • Experience with factory/laboratory test instrumentation, electronics, and software (oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters).
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Strong written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with EO/IR test systems in a production environment.
  • Experience with integrated development environments and debugging tools for software troubleshooting.
  • Experience developing and integrating automated test stations/systems.
  • Experience with common computer hardware interfaces and data protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, or RS-422.
  • Experience with NI software such as LabVIEW or Test Stand.
  • Understanding of UUT/ATE test software requirements and the design, implementation, integration, validation, and verification process.
