Program Chief Engineer (PCE)

Location:

McKinney, Texas (Onsite).

Salary range: $132,400 – $251,600 (USD). Candidates may be eligible for additional benefits and incentive compensation.

• Act as the single engineering leadership point of contact for program execution.
• Establish and manage the program vision, strategy, and goals to align with customer expectations.
• Ensure technical integrity and engineering execution across all Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Cross Product Teams (CPTs), and disciplines within the program.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact with the customer’s senior technical counterparts.
• Manage all program engineering activities, including schedule, cost, and financial aspects.
• Direct lead engineers to ensure that the system design meets performance requirements within cost and schedule constraints, and that production efforts execute as planned.
• Leverage product design engineering experience to establish a strong technical baseline with disciplined change management in a rapid development environment.
• Establish and guide the Digital Engineering / Model‑Based Engineering strategy for the product/program.
• Lead a highly multidisciplinary team, requiring experience across all design engineering disciplines, technical supplier management, business development, and program leadership.
• Travel as needed (approximately 10%) to support the program and the customer.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience; typically holds a STEM degree.
• Experience in airborne and electronic warfare systems design, use‑case development, operational analysis, integration/test, system qualification, or RF arrays.
• Prior leadership roles such as Lead Design Engineer, Lead Systems Engineer, Integrated Product Team Lead, or equivalent Engineering Lead.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance; active clearance required after start.
• Advanced STEM degree preferred.
• Factory establishment, production coordination across multiple facilities, and systems architecture experience.
• Experience with capture effort coordination, proposal development, work breakdown structure creation, and cost estimation.
• Strong communication skills with senior leadership, engineering disciplines, and external customers/stakeholders.

U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. The position requires maintaining an active and existing clearance.
