Our highly technical Automation Engineer role requires you to design, develop, and implement PLC, SCADA, and automation systems for water and wastewater facilities. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, lead automation solutions from concept through commissioning, develop HMI interfaces, troubleshoot live systems, and play a key role in scaling automation capability within a growing organization.

• Design, develop, and implement PLC, SCADA, and automation systems for water and wastewater facilities.
• Develop HMI interfaces, PLC programming, IO lists, BOMs, and control system documentation.
• Work on high‑value projects in a fast‑growing startup environment with progression opportunities as the business scales.
• Hands‑on field work, troubleshooting, commissioning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Ignition expertise.
• PLC and SCADA experience, particularly with Allen Bradley/Rockwell systems.
• Experience with industrial automation, instrumentation, DCS, and control systems within industrial, water, or process environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot automation systems, perform root cause analysis, and work in fast‑paced engineering environments.
