Position:
Engineering Technician

Shifts:

1st, 2nd and Weekend Schedules Pay Scale: $22-$26/hr (plus shift differentials)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine to moderately complex electro-mechanical technical activities, including design, test, fabrication, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Build prototype models, specialized test equipment, and experimental design circuitry.
• Test and troubleshoot problems at the system and component level in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Support new system installations, new product introductions (NPI), and field upgrades.
• Refer to schematics, diagrams, layouts, and plans for troubleshooting and routine testing.
• Maintain and compile logbooks and test documentation using strong writing skills.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on platforms per engineering and manufacturing documentation.
• May perform rework as needed and generate quality notifications.

Requirements:

• Experience in electro-mechanical design, testing, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and systems.
• Proficiency in working from schematics, diagrams, layouts, or plans for testing and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical components
