We are seeking an experienced RF Test Engineer with experience in Wireless and RF technologies to join our team. As a Test Engineer in this position, the candidate would work with various types of RF diagnostic and testing tools to test and debug failures and defects.
What a typical day looks like:- Support the testing, measuring, and troubleshooting of complex electronic and RF circuit card assemblies, systems, and sub-assemblies using specialized equipment to analyze signal strength, interference, and other relevant parameters.
- Hands‑on experience with lab instruments such as Oscilloscopes, RF signal generators, Spectrum analyzers, Network analyzers, multimeters.
- Troubleshoot and maintain test equipment to ensure the ongoing functionality of the equipment.
- Generate and review the technical content of test procedures, drawings, engineering specifications, reports, Engineering Change Orders, and other documentation.
- Assist in Monitor Quality data for trends and outliers and report regularly to the team.
- Generate and implement improvements in test design and develop methodologies to reduce cost, increase yield, and improve throughput.
- Interface with Engineering, Quality, and other supporting functions to drive defect resolution to root cause.
- Provide training and support for manufacturing personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, EE/Electronics, or related field (MSEE or advanced degree preferred)
- 6-8 years of experience using RF measurement and test equipment including power meters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers
- to debug to the component level in RF circuit cards
- to troubleshoot test systems and drive improvements
- Demonstrate strong technical aptitude, communication skills, and be able to work cross-functionally within the operations organization and with other disciplines/functions.
- Programming or scripting experience (Python or C#)
- Experience with Circuit card assemblies;
Test, Design, troubleshoot - Problem solving capabilities and experience using metrics and data to drive actions
- Proven track record of solving/ troubleshooting complicated production issues and/ or driving yield improvements
