Position OverviewWe are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with 3+ years of experience in MEP consulting to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience designing HVAC and/or plumbing systems for commercial, institutional, healthcare, education, hospitality, or mixeduse building projects and be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects while collaborating with electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams to deliver high-quality, code-compliant building system designs.
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in Mechanical discipline.
- 3-5 years relevant experience in design of HVAC systems for commercial interiors and/or infrastructure construction projects.
- Proficiency in the latest version of REVIT.
- Must be an effective team player and be self-motivated.
- Must have experience with designing HVAC systems
- Candidates must have good writing and communication skills.
- Ability to be in front of clients, running projects from conception to completion.
ACTIVITIES:
- Design of HVAC systems for a variety of projects.
- Create plans, schematics, equipment selection, load calculations, systems narratives and specifications, system design and layout, controls, field investigation and construction administration.
- Prepare due diligence and feasibility reports.
- Attend meetings with other consultants.
- Work in close contact with the entire design team.
- Comply with group and company standards and procedures
