- The post-doctoral fellow works with PI and other graduate students in reviewing and synthesizing existing literature to inform new proposal directions, establishing research plans, and developing advanced methodologies to explore human-AI interactive design domain.
- The position is responsible for preparing high-quality scholarly publications, presentations, and research reports, as well as attending relevant meetings, workshops, and conferences as necessary.
- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering or science discipline received within the last three years.
- Track record of academic excellence and scholarly work.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, and strong communications and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge in deep learning, cross-modal representation learning, statistics, and/or metaheuristic.
- Evidence of programming skills in Python, MATLAB, and/or R.
Salary Range: $60,000 + depending on qualifications
