- Comprehensive design documentation for component manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
- Design and integrate subsystems for an autonomous mechanical machine operating in tunnels.
- Research and select appropriate materials.
- Create and maintain detailed tracking spreadsheets for system mass and cost, and build schedules for piece parts and assemblies.

- 7+ years of work experience.
- Degree in any field of engineering or equivalent training.
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling and 2D drawing specifications.
- Experience with heavy equipment hydraulic systems (tractors, excavators, mining systems).
- Proficiency with NX/Solid Works
- Demonstrated skills in FEA for structural analysis (ex ANSYS, FEMAP/Nastran)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles.
- Hydraulic system design.
- Experience with machining, sheet metal and 3D printing design and manufacturing techniques.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Experience with hands‑on mechanical engineering work.
If there is a fit, we'll schedule two technical interviews. For the second one you will prepare a short presentation about something you built that you are proud of. Those who pass the technical interviews will proceed to a third and final interview on-site.
