Design Engineer II

Dynamic Systems, Inc. seeks a Design Engineer II to support complex mechanical and process construction projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and process piping for data centers, healthcare, industrial, and commercial facilities. In this role, you'll prepare designs, calculations, and drawings, coordinate closely with project managers and field teams, and help drive constructible, cost-effective solutions in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. You'll contribute to design-build efforts, participate in coordination meetings, and gain strong career development within a collaborative, safety- and quality-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical and process system design for large HVAC, plumbing, and process piping projects
• Develop drawings, models, and specifications under senior engineer guidance
• Perform engineering calculations, equipment sizing, and layout coordination
• Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and BIM/detailing staff to resolve design issues
• Review submittals and assist with value engineering and constructability reviews
• Participate in design-build coordination meetings with internal teams and clients
• Support RFIs, change documentation, and as-built updates
• Help ensure designs meet code, safety, and quality standards for mission-critical facilities
