Field Services Engineer-Semiconductor

An international semiconductor machinery company is actively seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their facility near Austin, TX.

• Ensure machineries at customer sites are working properly
• Perform machinery programing, maintenance/troubleshooting at customer site
• Install the new machinery and perform preventative maintenance
• Work on engineering drawing, schematics, manuals, and training for customers
• Analyze the current production flow and efficiency and provide consultation for process improvement
• Maintain clean and safe workplace and ensure the team follows company procedure and policies
• Analyze the existing system and implement action plans for quality improvement
• Communicate with customers effectively and handle difficult situations
• Build and maintain a professional relationship with team members for effective communication
• Follow all OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, EPA standards for optimal operations for the facility
• Perform all other duties as assigned

• 2-3 years of experience as Field Service Engineering in semiconductor industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
• Ability to join 3 months training overseas
• Strong leadership skills in team environment and skills to bring positive atmosphere to the team
• Ability to be flexible to work effectively with wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environment
• Excellent communication (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task and perform duties time efficiently
• Team-worker, Detail-oriented, Responsible, Punctual, Self-motivated
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
• Physical requirements:
  
  intermittently sit, stand, walk; lift up to 50 pounds, with lift assist for heavier loads; climb stairs; handle or feel parts/equipment; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist; talk and hear; and use vision (close, distance, color, depth perception, peripheral).
