Primary
Location:
Full time, 12 weeks, on site at Austin Technology and Manufacturing Center (ATMC), 3501 Ed Bluestein, Austin, TX
- Drive a specific project within the Equipment Engineering team, appropriate in time (less than 3 months generally), scope, and technical knowledge (engineering skill needed, but minimal semiconductor expertise) to an intern
- Learn about the semiconductors and maintenance generally, the fab way of work, and the Equipment Engineering role
- Report out at the end to senior management about the results of the project, benefit to NXP, and what was learned
- The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical preferred Prefer Dec 2027 and May 2028 graduation dates
- Demonstrated hands‑on experience in electromechanical system construction, repair, and/or maintenance
- In order to be considered for a summer internship with NXP you must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the internship term.
