Ground Operations Operator

The opportunity

Join a cutting-edge team transforming the way high voltage transmission lines are built. The Ground Operations Operator is responsible for operating Infravision's state of the art smart tension puller used for pre-stringing operations. This role involves operating and overseeing the setup, and complete operation while onsite a commercial job or demonstration, ensuring efficient use of resources and safe execution of tasks.

The TX system Operator will work closely with technical teams, field personnel, and other departments to ensure proper logistics, equipment functionality, and timely project delivery.

• Monitor the functionality of equipment housed within TX systems, ensuring all systems (such as power, cooling, or communication equipment) are operational before and during deployment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of systems and associated systems, addressing any operational or safety issues as they arise.

• Coordinate the logistics of TX system transport, setup, and deployment with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.
• Communicate with project managers, field operations teams, and other departments to ensure timely deployment and functionality of TX systems in support of ongoing projects.
• Maintainclearcommunicationwithallrelevantpartiesduringdeploymentandoperationsandensureupdatesonprojectstatusandanyoperationalissues.
• Trackandcoordinatesystemschedules,optimizingtheuseofresourcesformultipleprojectsorshifts.

• Support the setup and configuration of TX systems for specific operational needs, such as providing power, shelter, or communication support on project sites.
• Ensure systems are equipped with the necessary tools, supplies, and equipment for field operations, conducting inventory checks before and after each deployment.
• Provide onsite coordination to ensure system equipment and systems are operational and meet project requirements.
• Assist with any troubleshooting of equipment failures or operational issues related to TX systems.
