Plumbing Designer

Required Skills Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in the design of Plumbing Systems. Demonstrated knowledge of industry trends and best practices, including experience with load analysis and engineering calculation software. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline;
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred. Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including IPC, UPC, IBC, IMC, ASPE standards, LEED water efficiency requirements, and NFPA codes. Proven experience delivering plumbing engineering services from conceptual design through construction administration. Strong proficiency in 3D BIM design tools, particularly Revit MEP; experience with Revit MEP fabrication and spool drawing production preferred. Proficient in industry-standard coordination and documentation tools, including Revit MEP Fabrication, AutoCAD, Revizto, Navisworks, and Bluebeam Pay rate: $45/hr.
