About this opprotunity:

The Mechanical Engineering Intern will support the Mechanical Design Engineering team in the development, integration, and validation of mechanical systems and components for high-performance computing and data‑center rack solutions. The intern will gain hands‑on experience working with mechanical design, CAD, prototyping, testing, documentation, and engineering problem‑solving in a fast‑paced product development environment.

Detailed Description
  • Support mechanical engineers with design and development of components, assemblies, and systems for computing and data‑center rack products.
  • Create and modify 3D CAD models, drawings, and layouts under the guidance of experienced engineers.
  • Assist with prototype builds, mechanical assembly, fit and finish evaluations, and design verification activities.
  • Support engineering testing and data collection, including dimensional measurements, force measurements, and basic mechanical performance testing.
  • Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues and identifying potential design improvements.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to documentation, engineering reports, and presentation materials.
  • Work with cross‑functional teams including electrical, thermal, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams.
