Join TxDOT's Maintenance Division and help shape the future of Texas transportation. We are seeking a motivated Professional Engineer to join the Pavements Branch, a team of engineers dedicated to evaluating, designing, and preserving one of the nation's largest highway networks. This role offers the opportunity to work on pavement design, forensic investigations, rehabilitation strategies, emerging technologies, and statewide technical support.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, solve complex engineering challenges, and contribute to policies and best practices that improve the safety and performance of Texas highways.
Note:
This position may require occasional travel on the weekends to respond to emergency requests.
Position, Salary Grade/Range:
Transportation Engineer I, B24: $65,104 - $106,634
Transportation Engineer II
, B25: $69,572 - $114,099
Transportation Engineer III
, B26: $76,530 - $129,430
This position is for Transportation Engineer I, II, or III. The Texas Department of Transportation reserves the sole right in determining the level of position based on the applicant's work experience, education, skill level, and all other appropriate factors, and based on business needs.
