Stanley Consultants is looking for an Electrical Student Intern for our Austin, TX office.

What You Will Be Doing:

Student will develop an understanding of electrical power, lighting, control, and communications systems related to for a variety of building and site infrastructure projects. Responsibilities and skills to be developed include:
Understanding engineering drawings and specifications, performing and checking engineering calculations, coordinating information with vendors, performing field site visits, back checking drawings, gaining familiarity with computer software, and general clerk duties. You may be responsible for specific design tasks under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Design tasks may include electrical system modeling, lighting and power calculations, electrical lighting and power plans, panel board and equipment schedules, equipment wiring drawings and schematics, or similar.

You will be responsible for working independently on assigned tasks and seeking out experienced engineers for answering questions.

Required Qualifications:
  • Enrolled in BSEE Degree Program at an ABET accredited University
  • Must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior working towards a BS in Electrical Engineering
  • GPA 3.0 or higher
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Local to the Denver area
  • Must have ability to work legally in the United States for unlimited time without requiring sponsorship.
