Senior Hardware Engineer

We're looking for an exceptional Senior Hardware Engineer to lead the design and deployment of rugged, AI-powered hardware systems used in demanding industrial environments.

This is a hands‑on role where you'll take ownership of hardware architecture from concept through to production. You'll design industrial edge computing systems, embedded electronics, sensor integrations, and camera platforms built to operate reliably in extreme conditions. Working alongside software and AI engineers, you'll rapidly prototype, test, and deploy hardware that delivers real-world impact.

• Design and develop industrial hardware, embedded systems, and edge computing platforms.
• Build and integrate custom electronics, sensors, cameras, and networking hardware.
• Develop embedded software and firmware (C, C++, Rust or Python).
• Prototype, test, and optimise hardware for reliability in harsh environments.
• Support on-site deployments, troubleshooting, and continuous product improvements.

• Strong experience in hardware engineering, embedded systems, PCB design, or robotics.
• Hands‑on knowledge of industrial communication protocols (CAN, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Serial).
• Experience integrating sensors, vision systems, and edge computing platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson or industrial PCs.
• A track record of delivering hardware products into real‑world operational environments.
• The ability to work autonomously, solve complex engineering challenges, and move quickly from concept to deployment.

Backgrounds that would be particularly relevant include Senior Embedded Engineers, Electronics Engineers, Robotics Hardware Engineers, Hardware Technical Leads, or Founding Engineers from hardware or IoT startups.
