Senior Analog Design Engineer

We are partnering with a top-five global semiconductor company to hire a Senior Analog Circuit Design Engineer to design analog and mixed-signal IP blocks for advanced mobile SoCs.

This is a hands-on circuit design role requiring a strong foundation in FinFET transistor operation and device dynamics, analog and mixed-signal design, complex AC/DC analysis, feedback loop theory, digital standard cells, and low-power design techniques.

The successful candidate will work across circuit architecture, transistor-level design and simulation, layout reviews, design verification, silicon validation, and production test planning while collaborating closely with integration and other engineering teams

Key Responsibilities

• Circuit Architecture: Define mixed-signal design architectures and design analog and/or digital blocks, including documenting specifications and design assumptions.
• Circuit Design & Analysis: Perform transistor-level feasibility studies and detailed performance analysis, and propose and implement design improvements based on simulation results.
• Analog IP Development: Work on analog and mixed-signal circuits such as op-amps, band-gap circuits, LDOs, ADCs/DACs, and related IP.
• System-Level Modeling: Model system-level digital control behavior to validate and optimize analog circuit functionality.
• Layout & Performance: Drive layout reviews and provide guidance to layout engineers to achieve optimal circuit performance.
• Design Verification: Perform tape-out quality design verification, including EM/IR and timing analysis, and work with ESD teams to ensure designs meet required quality standards.
• Production Test: Develop feasible analog design test plans suitable for mass production.
• SoC Integration:
  Coordinate with top-level back-end and front-end integrators to prepare the required design models for integration.

Required Skills & Experience

• You have an MS or PhD in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• You have 5+ years of analog and/or mixed-signal design experience.
• You have experience with data converters, LDOs, and/or PMIC design.
• You have a strong understanding of FinFET transistor operation and device dynamics.
• You have experience with analog and mixed-signal circuit design, including areas such as op-amps, band-gap circuits, LDOs, ADCs, and DACs.
• You understand complex AC/DC analysis, feedback loop theory, digital standard cells, and low-power design techniques.
• You have working knowledge of circuit design, simulation, and modeling tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Custom Compiler, Spectre, AMS, MATLAB, and Simulink.
• You have strong scripting skills using Tcl, Perl, or Python.
• Experience with SKILL and shell scripting is a plus.
• You have experience transforming silicon measurements into performance and specification-compliance validation.
