OverviewAs a Café Ambassador, you are the face of Capital One’s mission to change banking for good. You’ll move throughout the Café, bridging the gap between digital innovation and human connection, serving as a high‑end service specialist and guide to digital banking.
What You’ll Actually Do- Be a Natural Connector:
Proactively engage with guests in a high‑energy community space and local coffee shop environment. - Serve as a Brand Advocate:
Share the value of Capital One’s products and services through genuine conversation rather than transactions, with no traditional sales quotas. - Simplify the Complex:
Guide customers through our digital ecosystem, helping them master mobile tools and troubleshoot tech challenges. - Facilitate Purposeful Impact:
Host and support local events that promote financial health, acting as a brand steward within Capital One’s programs and partnerships. - Advocate & Problem‑Solve:
Resolve customer issues, de‑escalate complaints or escalated situations, respecting compliance and regulatory requirements. - Act as a Culture Carrier:
Foster a supportive inclusive environment, demonstrating attention to detail, a positive attitude, and flexibility. - Stay Agile & Engaged:
Be active throughout the day, moving through the Café to connect with the community and support guest experience flow.
- Support surrounding Cafés within a 50‑mile radius, and occasionally assist other locations in the region.
- Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays; adapt to business‑driven schedule adjustments.
- Attend all required training sessions, which may occur on a schedule differing from the primary shift.
- Lifting up to 25 pounds and standing/moving for extended periods of time.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
- Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification; at least 1 year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Associate’s degree; 2+ years of banking experience; 2+ years of Retail or Customer‑facing experience; proficiency in G‑Suite; strong written and oral communication skills.
- Day1 coverage for Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescriptions.
