Now Hiring Event Staff Pay $22/hr. when working College Sports Events; $18/hr. for all other events.

Allied Universal® Event Services is looking to hire Event Staff. This position is responsible for duties such as collecting tickets, welcoming and ushering guests, and providing superior customer service. Event Staff team members also direct foot traffic and help maintain cleanliness, operational efficiency, and the designated areas.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
  • Manage entry into venues, collect/scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, and direct traffic.
  • Understand policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
  • Greet guests warmly at entrances or concourses and thank them as they depart.
  • Provide guests with directions and suggestions to enhance their experience.
  • Maintain a friendly demeanor and clear, natural communication with guests.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; may require Driver’s Record check.
  • Professional, articulate, and able to use independent judgment and discretion.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
