The International Mission Board is seeking an Event Technology Associate to support the successful execution of virtual, hybrid, and in‑person events through innovative event technology solutions.
Location: Remote Compensation: $69,177–$81,385 annually*
The Event Technology Associate serves as a key contributor to the planning, implementation, and optimization of event technology platforms and acts as a critical backup resource for the Event Technology Manager when needed.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain event registration sites, event websites, and mobile applications using Cvent.
- Support the implementation and ongoing management of event technology platforms, including Cvent and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Collaborate with event planners, marketing teams, and stakeholders to ensure technology solutions align with event goals and objectives.
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and technical requirements for multiple events simultaneously.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues before and during virtual, hybrid, and live events.
- Manage and analyze event data, producing reports and recommendations to improve future event outcomes.
- Maintain data integrity, security, and best practices across event platforms.
- Create user guides, process documentation, and training materials.
- Train team members and stakeholders on event technology tools and processes.
- Bachelor's degree, preferred.
- At least three years of experience in event technology, event management, and/or project coordination.
- Minimum one year of experience in event technology administration, preferably utilizing Cvent.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience supporting technology‑driven events and registration platforms.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional critical‑thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Forms, Lists, and Smartsheet.
- Cvent certifications strongly preferred (Event Management, Event Management Advanced, and/or Attendee Hub).
- Occasional domestic and international travel required in support of events.
