The right candidate will be locking and pricing loans to investors in the secondary market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Calculate pricing of loans (quotes) to loan officers in an accurate and timely manner
- Process changes or modifications to loans requested by borrowers
- Lock loans with investors as determined by loan type
- Provide professional, quick, accurate and valuable responses to incoming phone calls and email inquiries from Production and all other internal departments
- Provide off-sheet pricing for rates and/or programs that are not published on the daily rate sheet
- Compile rates from multiple investors to create rate sheet
- Monitor/review reports assigned by Commitment Desk Manager
- Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- 0 to two years related experience and/or training
- Understand and accurately interpret detailed price guidelines
- Proficient analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability to provide professional telephone and business etiquette
- Possess a strong commitment to customer service
- Ability to multi-task with excellent attention to detail
- Work well under time constraints while maintaining a balanced workload
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
- Proficiency with MS Office and email
- Knowledge of mortgage industry, process and terms preferred
