This role is hybrid (3 days/week in office) in Austin.

This reporting and technical accounting team needs a leader to own the preparation of internal and external financial reporting for the Company. This is a highly visible position within the business, that will give you hands‑on experience across quarterly and annual reporting processes.
We are looking for a highly motivated, eager to learn individual who can help streamline and improve our processes as we grow and scale.
- Preparation and review of reporting documents (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy)
- Prepare/review footnote support schedules, tie‑out support for reports and complete and review of disclosure checklists
- Assist with research and preparation of technical accounting memos
- Manage equity administration and accounting, including preparation of equity share pool analyses, EPS calculations, and diluted share calculations
- Collaborate with the general accounting team to prepare corporate financial reporting for internal analysis and external reporting
- Collaborate with the internal and external legal teams to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Work closely with external auditors to manage the financial quarterly review and annual audit process
- Provide financial analysis including explanations of variances between actual and forecast/prior periods on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Ensure internal controls over financial reporting, including disclosure controls and procedures, are adequate and operating effectively
- Participate in monthly/quarterly financial close review meetings to ensure appropriate accounting of transactions and accurate external reporting
- Lead in evaluation and implementation of new FASB accounting pronouncements and SEC regulations
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc requests, as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA and public accounting experience required (Big 4 preferred)
- 8-12 years of accounting or financial reporting experience, previous public accounting or public company reporting exposure highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Technology industry experience preferred
- Commitment to all reporting and audit deadlines
- Ability to articulate complex issues and drive process improvements
- Exceptional organizational skills, project management experience to include management of large‑scale/global initiatives.
