Description

Join TTSTC External Investments team as a Junior Portfolio Manager! This role performs senior-level asset management, market research, due diligence, investment monitoring, and preparation of Investment Committee and Board materials for investments in public and private credit markets. Work involves researching, analyzing, and evaluating fund investments and other investment information to implement approved investment policies and programs.

Work Hours

Agency standard work hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, 40 hours per week with occasional evening and weekend hours. Hours are subject to change based upon business need or division determination.

This position may be eligible for a flexible/hybrid work schedule if certain conditions are met; working arrangements may change at any time as business necessitates.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Portfolio Managers and the CIO in evaluating and monitoring existing external manager investments and co-investments, with an emphasis on exposures within private credit markets.
  • Contribute to asset allocation, portfolio construction, and risk management.
  • Communicate with potential managers via in-person meetings or phone calls on a regular basis and be able to speak to portfolio-related events knowledgeably.
