Responsibilities:
- Oversee full-cycle accounting and monthly close process
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with nonprofit GAAP (ASC 958)
- Manage fund accounting, including restricted and designated funds
- Lead annual budgeting and support forecasting initiatives
- Strengthen internal controls around cash receipts and disbursements
- Partner with senior leadership on financial reporting and planning
Requirements:
- 5+ years of progressive nonprofit accounting experience
- Strong fund accounting background
- Experience leading month-end close and financial statement prep
- Budgeting and internal controls expertise
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus)
- Experience with in a mission-driven organization preferred
