The Actuary, Analytics/Forecasting role involves analyzing and forecasting financial, economic, and other critical data to deliver precise and timely insights that inform both strategic and operational decisions. You will establish key metrics, perform detailed data analyses, and work collaboratively to enhance business intelligence. This position requires evaluating industry, economic, financial, and market trends to project the organization's short, medium, and long-term financial and competitive landscape.

The Actuary will tackle a diverse range of problems, with varying degrees of complexity.

As part of the Enterprise NPV team within Growth Finance, you will ensure data accuracy by creating and managing necessary processes and controls around data flow and related modeling. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify business needs, troubleshoot issues, conduct in-depth analyses, and develop effective solutions for data discrepancies. You will make decisions on moderately complex to highly complex issues regarding the technical approach for project components, working independently and exercising significant flexibility in defining objectives and methods.

Your primary focus will include:

• LTV/NPV Modeling - Improve and maintain MA-IND NPV models, and develop NPV modeling for Center Well lines of business
• Engaging with key stakeholders to produce pertinent analyses that uncover new insights
• Developing assumptions that align each line of business with their forward‑looking 5‑year plans
• Conducting Ad Hoc Analysis – In-depth reviews of NPV modeling to generate new insights essential for business applications

Utilize your skills to make a difference

• Bachelor's Degree
• FSA or ASA designation, along with relevant advanced degree or professional qualifications
• MAAA certification
• 4+ years of experience in finance, actuarial work, or financial modeling
• Proven ability to collaborate across different functions
• Advanced skills in Excel and SAS/SQL
• Experience in more than two areas (e.g., modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting & analysis, reserving, or trending)

• Experience with Humana MA and/or Center Well
• Familiarity with LTV/NPV modeling
• Experience with Databricks and/or Power BI

This position can be performed remotely from anywhere in the US.

Travel:
Occasional visits to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be necessary.

The compensation range is a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full‑time employment (40 hours per week). This range may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications, skills, knowledge, experience, and education, among other factors.

$129,300 - $177,800 per year

This role is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
