The RoleWe’re hiring an Accounting & Finance Manager to own our accounting function and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial reporting. You will lead the monthly close, maintain clean and well-documented books, and serve as the primary steward of our general ledger. You will be accountable for delivering a timely, accurate close each month and ensuring leadership can rely on the numbers with confidence.
This role reports directly to the Head of Finance and plays a central role in preparing for and leading our annual audit process. If you take pride in strong accounting and want full ownership of the books, not just a slice of them, this is that seat.
Beyond core close responsibilities, this role offers a rare level of ownership and visibility for someone early in their career. You’ll help shape how our accounting systems evolve, identifying process improvements, implementing automation (including AI-driven workflows), and strengthening the infrastructure that supports our growth. As you build efficiency and earn trust, there will be opportunities to expand into broader finance and analytical work alongside the Head of Finance and executive team.
The foundation is disciplined accounting execution; the upside is meaningful influence in how finance scales from here.
- Own and execute the monthly close process end-to-end, including timeline management and clear communication of results to leadership
- Maintain accurate, timely, and well-documented financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Manage key SaaS accounting areas, including revenue recognition, deferred revenue, accruals, prepaids, and payroll entries
- Prepare and review account reconciliations and supporting schedules to ensure integrity of the general ledger
- Take ownership of our accounting systems and infrastructure, identifying opportunities to improve workflows, implement automation (including AI-driven tools), and increase efficiency across recurring processes
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and lead preparation efforts for annual external audits
- Strengthen internal controls and refine accounting policies as the business scales
- Partner with the Head of Finance on operational reporting, variance analysis, and strategic initiatives that support executive decision-making
- 4-7 years of accounting experience, ideally within a high-growth or SaaS environment
- Demonstrated ownership of a monthly close process (not just supporting it)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles
- Experience preparing reconciliations and maintaining audit-ready documentation
- Comfortable operating in a lean, high-accountability environment with direct exposure to executive leadership
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and comfort working with accounting systems
- Detail-oriented with a high standard for accuracy and organization
- Proactive and systems-minded, you look for ways to improve processes, not just execute them
- Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
- CPA or CPA-track preferred, but not required
- Experience with SaaS metrics and subscription-based revenue models
- Exposure to automation tools, workflow optimization, or AI-driven solutions
- Interest in expanding into finance and analytical responsibilities over time
- Startup environment within a stable, industry-leading company
- Competitive salary, bonus structure & equity
- Excellent Health, Dental, Vision and Parental Benefits
- Regular team outings & events
- Hybrid/Remote Flexibility
- Flexible PTO and Work Hours
