What You’ll Do- As a co-pilot for our U.S. business you are the single point of contact on all finance relevant topics reporting to the Managing Director for North America and the Global Head of FP&A and BI
- You will be responsible for supporting month-end closing, latest estimate, forecasting and budgeting w.r.t. bikes and accessories sold, revenue, promos, discounts and marketing spend across our sales channels
- You will partner with accounting to improve financial visibility and act as a key sparrings partner between the global accounting team and the U.S. accounting team
- You will be responsible for OPEX steering within the U.S. business, where you will analyze cost deviations to budget and forecast and develop recommendations for action if necessary to get back on track
- As a business partner, you will challenge our business in a constructive way, will provide insights and recommendations to improve our contribution margin and monitor risks & opportunities
- You will work on business cases and ad hoc analysis such as new program scoping and final sizing.
- Together with our BI experts and data analysts you will continue to improve our data models for better commercial steering and support commercial steering with the help of BI dashboards
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field - Experience:
5-7 years of experience in Business Finance/FP&A, ideally in a larger consumer goods company including e-commerce and/or retail - You enjoy working with large amounts of data and love to bring structure to even the biggest chaos
- You have experience and enjoy creating things from scratch starting from a blank sheet of paper.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statements
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
- Experience with Power
BI, Dynamics
365 and Anaplan is a plus - You enjoy working with BI experts and data analysts
- You have a "continuous improvement mindset"
- You are able to work accurately, independently and structured, yet you are a team player who enjoys making complex analyses simple to better reach your audience
