We are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly analytical Accounting Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in various accounting tools and programming languages, combined with a solid understanding of accounting principles. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and utilizing advanced software tools to optimize our accounting processes.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Utilize advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, VBA) to automate and streamline accounting processes.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models using Google Sheets, including advanced formulas and App Script.
- Conduct data analysis using intermediate programming skills in Python and SQL. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather data and provide insights for decision‑making.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Support the implementation, maintenance and administration of accounting software and systems.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Prepare ad‑hoc financial analyses and reports to support strategic planning and business development.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
- Provide support for external audits, including preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Monitor and report on key financial and operational metrics.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Perform reconciliations of accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Advanced analytical skills and creative problem‑solving abilities with an attention to detail.
- Capable of working on multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Education And/or Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Analyst or similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and VBA).
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets (including advanced formulas and App Script).
- Intermediate programming skills in Python, R, and SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
