D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Credit Consultant Assistant
. The ideal candidate will support the HBC Credit Consultants by performing tasks essential to accurate and efficient processing of credit simulations, re‑scores, and related activities, while interacting directly with Mortgage Loan Originators, Credit Consultants, and borrowers to ensure smooth operations within the HBC Department.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Assist Credit Consultants with managing their pipeline.
- Pull soft and hard credit reports.
- Develop initial and follow‑up game plans.
- Run simulations and provide information for MLO credit opinions.
- Input data into various computer programs.
- Run reports upon request.
- Conduct all business professionally and ethically to serve customers and enhance company goodwill and profit.
- Availability to work overtime.
– Education and Experience
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize.
- Ability to organize and manage time efficiently.
- Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with MS Office and email.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Proficiency in credit simulation tools with Credit Xpert and understanding of credit reports through credit vendors and CRM systems is a plus.
- Experience in Credit Consulting, mortgage lending, or a related field is preferred.
