We are seeking a hands‑on Accounting Manager to lead high‑volume billing and accounts receivable operations across multiple profit centers. This role serves as the day‑to‑day lead and subject matter expert, supporting a team of five and partnering closely with finance and operations to ensure accurate invoicing, strong controls, and healthy cash flow. This direct hire opportunity offers $85k-$95k.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily billing and AR activities, including invoicing, and reconciliations
- Ensure timely, accurate billing and resolve discrepancies
- Serve as escalation point for complex billing or system issues
- Support month‑end close, reporting, and aging analysis
- Identify process improvements and support workflow enhancements
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with finance and operations
- Support training and onboarding of billing/AR staff
- 5 years of billing or AR experience in a high‑volume environment
- Experience supporting multi‑entity or multi‑profit center operations
- Prior lead or senior‑level experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
