Financial Manager

Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to oversee financial operations and provide strategic insight across a growing, performance‑driven organization. This role partners closely with operational leadership and plays a key role in strengthening financial discipline, visibility, and decision‑making within a complex, execution‑focused environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong business judgment, a hands‑on leadership approach, and the ability to enhance financial processes while supporting operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead core finance and accounting functions, developing and mentoring a high‑performing team through coaching, feedback, and continuous improvement.

+ Act as a strategic partner to operational leadership, supporting planning, performance analysis, and execution of key initiatives.

+ Prepare, review, and present recurring financial statements, forecasts, and management reporting to support timely and accurate decisions.

+ Own the annual budgeting process and maintain forward‑looking forecasts aligned with organizational objectives.

+ Monitor cash flow and working capital while identifying opportunities to improve margins and overall financial performance.

+ Oversee invoicing, collections, and receivables management to improve cash conversion and reduce outstanding balances.

+ Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and financial risk management practices.

+ Evaluate and enhance financial systems, reporting tools, and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.

+ Coordinate with internal stakeholders on risk management, insurance, and tax‑related financial matters as needed.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial management within a complex operating environment.

+ Strong understanding of accounting principles, contract‑driven financial reporting, forecasting, and risk assessment.

+ Demonstrated success in budgeting, variance analysis, financial oversight, and performance monitoring.

+ Advanced analytical skills with experience interpreting large data sets and supporting audit or forecast activities.

+ Proficiency with financial systems and Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel capabilities.

+ Prior people leadership experience with a track record of developing teams and driving accountability.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence across functions and leadership levels.

+ High level of professionalism, integrity, sound judgment, and flexibility to support business needs, including occasional travel.
