This is a hybrid-remote role that requires onsite work at our north Austin, TX headquarters.

• Must be eligible for NMLS Registration.
• One (1) year or more of work experience in mortgage processing or closing is required.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field is required. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an equivalent number of years of experience in a mortgage role is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal/written) skills and the ability to work in a diverse community.
• Passion for providing outstanding service and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Ownership of the customer experience through issue resolution.
• Adaptable to a productive team environment where knowledge is shared, and feedback and coaching are welcomed.
• Effective time management and flexibility to work department hours.

• As the Mortgage Loan Closers, you’ll manage the mortgage loan closing process from start to finish, ensuring each loan closes accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations.
• You’ll work closely with members, title companies, loan officers, and other partners to coordinate closings, review documents, and fund loans while addressing any issues that arise.
• You’ll also handle post-closing activities, maintain accurate records, and ensure members understand their loan terms—helping provide a smooth, professional experience and strengthening relationships with the credit union.
