Internal Operational Audit Associate Manager

Steven Douglas is engaged on a search for an experienced Associate Manager, Operational Audit to join our client's Global Internal Audit team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building audit programs, assessing business risk, and partnering cross-functionally to drive real change.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Internal Audit, you’ll play a key role in executing a risk-based audit strategy
, evaluating operational processes, and delivering insights that improve efficiency and strengthen controls across the organization.

This role operates on a flexible 3/2 hybrid schedule with office located just North of Austin. Additionally has a competitive salary package with bonus and equity.

• Lead and execute operational audits end-to-end, from planning through reporting
• Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes and internal controls
• Translate complex risks into clear, actionable business insights
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to stakeholders with clarity and impact
• Leverage data analytics (SQL, data validation, testing) to enhance audit quality
• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodologies and team processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6+ years of Internal Audit experience (operational focus preferred)
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience using data analytics tools (e.g., SQL) in audit workflows
• CPA, CIA, CISA, or similar certification (preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-growth environment
