Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Austin, TX, for a Mortgage Loan Officer. Responsibilities include evaluating and originating mortgage loan applications, guiding clients through the mortgage process, and providing professional financial advice. The Mortgage Loan Officer will closely collaborate with underwriters, ensure compliance with lending regulations, maintain updated knowledge of mortgage industry trends, and foster positive relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction throughout their home financing journey.

Qualifications
  • Experience as a Loan Officer with a strong understanding of the mortgage industry
  • Knowledge of mortgage lending practices, products, and underwriting standards
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven ability to assess borrower needs and provide tailored financial solutions
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple clients and transactions effectively
  • Familiarity with relevant compliance standards and regulations in mortgage lending
  • Previous experience in financial counseling or advising is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred
