Assistant Fund Manager

Tarvos Talent is looking for a talented Assistant Fund Controller for a great client in the Financial Services realm. This role is a fantastic opportunity for continued growth on a growing team and for a stellar organization.

• Oversee fund accounting and reporting for multiple venture funds and related vehicles
• Manage and review work performed by the outsourced fund administrator
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements
• Coordinate annual audits and serve as primary liaison with external auditors
• Support capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations
• Review NAVs, partner capital accounts, and investor allocations
• Assist with valuation processes in coordination with the investment team
• Prepare investor reporting materials and respond to LP inquiries
• Support regulatory and compliance requirements (RIA structure)
• Partner with internal teams across the management company (GP) and fund entities

• 6+ years of experience in fund accounting/finance
• Strong experience with venture capital or private equity funds preferred
• CPA preferred (not required)
• Experience working with outsourced administrators
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and partnership accounting
• Detail-oriented with ability to operate in a growing, less hierarchical environment
