Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Schmidt Electric Co., Inc., located in Austin, TX. The CFO will oversee all financial operations of the company, including managing financial planning and analysis, preparing financial statements, leading financial reporting processes, and developing strategic financial goals. The role involves providing leadership in aligning financial strategies with company objectives, optimizing budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The CFO will partner with executive leadership to drive growth and fiscal responsibility.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Financial Planning, including developing and implementing financial strategies
  • Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements to support decision-making
  • Strong knowledge of Finance and Financial Reporting, with experience overseeing budgets and regulatory compliance
  • Exceptional Analytical Skills for interpreting data, identifying trends, and improving financial performance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role
