Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Private Banking Relationship Manager to join our team in Austin, Texas. This role focuses on growing, retaining, and deepening relationships with high-net-worth individuals through a full spectrum of private banking solutions.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in credit, sales, and client relationship management, with a proven ability to work independently while collaborating closely with internal partners to deliver exceptional service and tailored financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of high-net-worth clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow client relationships through loan and deposit products, as well as referrals for wealth, trust, and commercial banking services.
  • Source new business through client referrals, internal partners, and proactive networking within the community.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and make recommendations to ensure clients' evolving needs are met.
  • Collaborate with branch and product teams to deliver an integrated, client‑first service experience.
  • Oversee and ensure the quality of credit analysis and loan structuring, maintaining adherence to policy and client suitability.
  • Maintain high standards of client service, ensuring responsiveness, integrity, and confidentiality in every interaction.
  • Thrive in a self‑directed environment, managing time effectively and demonstrating accountability for individual and team goals.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the broader success of the private banking division.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in private banking, lending, financial services, or related fields.
  • Formal credit training is required.
  • Deep knowledge of private banking products and services, commercial lending and mortgages, investment and trust services, affinity banking and insurance solutions.
  • Strong skills in sales and relationship development, credit analysis and loan structuring, client interviewing and character assessment, and identifying and referring investment and financial planning opportunities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Commitment to delivering a high standard of client service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
