Job Description
The Senior Finance Manager serves as the senior finance leader of Next Move, with end‑to‑end responsibility for financial strategy, planning, execution, and performance management. This role partners directly with the CEO, leadership team and Cintra Headquarters teams, to drive decision‑making, ensure financial discipline, and support sustainable growth, while coordinating with corporate finance and headquarters teams to ensure alignment with group standards and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Own and lead all financial activities for Next Move, including budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, and financial reporting.
- Act as the primary finance partner to Next Move leadership, providing real‑time insights to support commercial, operational, and strategic decisions.
- Develop and maintain financial models tied directly to operations, contracts, and growth initiatives.
- Drive monthly and quarterly close processes, variance analysis, and performance reviews, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, cash flow, and cost controls to support profitability and operational efficiency.
- Lead financial governance, internal controls, and compliance within the business unit, coordinating with corporate finance as required.
- Project‑management and/or ad‑hoc analysis initiatives that require business and finance team coordination in relation to any financial, accounting, tax and business process with a value creation, simplicity, and cost‑effectiveness focus.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- 7‑10+ years’ experience in related fields, such as Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Controlling, Business Process Analysis, Audit, Financial Analysis, Project Finance or Economics.
- Experience with Financial Models and Project Finance a plus.
- Master’s degree or CFA candidate a plus.
- Effectively manage tasks and tight deadlines independently.
- Ability to interact with colleagues in a self‑managed team structure.
- Superior quantitative skills and analytical mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication/commercial skills with a ‘customer centric/value adding’ mindset.
- Curious / Proactive / Innovative problem solver.
- Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and implement solutions within a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point, as well as PC‑based programs.
- Familiarity with SAP accounting software preferred.
- Experience with reporting and dashboard tools will be a plus (ex. PowerBI, Business Objects, Qlikview, SAC).
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
- Minimal travel required.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus, as necessary to use a computer.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and sit.
