Tax Manager - Tax Compliance

Join our dynamic leadership team as a Tax Manager in our Birmingham, AL office. You will help train, develop, and mentor staff in a fast-growing international public accounting firm focusing on foreign‑owned companies and foreign individuals.

Preferred candidate local to the Birmingham office on‑site; candidates local to the Austin, Texas area may also be considered for remote support.

• Main focus on tax compliance.
• Be part of our leadership team, train, and develop staff.
• Manage client work and relationships.
• Review and/or prepare federal and state corporate & partnership income tax returns.
• Review and/or prepare current and deferred income tax provisions for corporate taxpayers under ASC 740.
• Assist with tax consulting and research, state and local, domestic and international matters common to our clients.

• Minimum of 5‑7 years of tax experience in public accounting, preferably in international tax compliance.
• Bachelor's or Master’s in accountancy or taxation, or similar program from an accredited college/university.
• Minimum of 1‑2 years of income tax return review experience.
• CCH Axcess experience.
• Pro System fx Engagement experience.
