ICON is a technology platform - at scale, with proprietary technology that doesn't exist anywhere else on earth. We're scaling a business towards hyper-growth and we're assembling a team that will take us there.
We're looking for a sharp, execution-oriented Finance Associate to work directly with our CFO and senior leadership team. This isn't a supporting role - it's a seat at the table during one of the most consequential periods in ICON's history. You'll own financial models, support board and investor communications, and dig into the unit economics of a business that spans three distinct segments: commercial construction, defense contracts, and hardware technology sales.
If you want a career-defining stretch role at a company changing how the world builds, this is it. Our finance team is embracing AI.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Build and maintain financial models across company, segment, and project levels - including Titan hardware economics, Formcrete revenue modeling, and government contract P&Ls
- Support quarterly board materials and monthly investor reporting - from first draft to final slide
- Perform variance analysis and forecasting, with a relentless focus on forecast accuracy over time
- Support investor requests and capital markets processes
- Partner with business leaders on commercial contract profitability and model pro forma impact before deals are signed
- Assist in treasury management, working capital analysis, and cash flow forecasting
- Own special projects across R&D, business development, and construction diligence as they arise
- 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, FP&A, project finance, corporate finance, or a related analytical role
- Strong financial modeling skills - you build from scratch, not just from templates
- Clear communicator who can translate numbers into decisions for non-finance audiences
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a quantitative field
- Proficiency with AI and a passion for innovation
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with PowerPoint, ERP systems (Net Suite a plus), or financial planning tools is a bonus
- Demonstrated passion for financial modeling and the visual display of quantitative information.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management, board or other outside partners.
- Ability and desire to communicate financial concepts and information to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers.
- People who want their work to matter beyond the spreadsheet
- Self-starters who move fast, ask good questions, and don't wait to be told what to do
- Candidates from non-traditional paths - construction finance, government contracting, manufacturing - are strongly encouraged to apply.
