Position Purpose
Provide leadership and oversight of all aspects of finance for the Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all finance related activities, including developing and monitoring progress against the Annual Operating Plan.
- Conduct financial analysis, identify month‑end financial drivers, and forecast including headcount planning to ensure compliance with state requirements.
- Identify medical cost trends and lead medical cost improvement initiatives.
- Perform financial impact analysis for new contracts and support negotiations.
- Review monthly performance and financial results of the business unit and provide recommendations to senior management.
- Represent the business unit’s contribution to corporate decisions.
- Act as chief liaison between Corporate Finance and the Business Unit.
- Establish financial strategic vision, objectives, policies, and procedures in support of the overall strategic plan.
- Oversee and validate pricing models and lead initiatives to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Direct health plan analytical needs and coordinate reporting strategy.
- Lead internal and external audits.
- Lead rate‑setting activity and coordinate with corporate and state actuaries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (required).
- Master’s Degree (preferred).
- At least 10 years in a high‑level finance role within the healthcare or insurance industry (required).
- CPA preferred or equivalent experience demonstrated through accomplishments.
Pay Range: $227,700 - $431,400 per year.
