Overview

State & Local Tax (SALT). Industry: Not Applicable. Time Type:
Full time. Travel Requirements:
Up to 20%. In this role you will help our clients solve business issues related to state and local taxes, including business restructuring, adoption of new tax laws, and communication of local tax developments. You’ll assess clients’ state and local tax burden and recommend solutions that support business objectives and comply with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to the strategic vision of the State and Local Tax Financial Services team.
Develop solutions and solve intricate tax issues using analytical judgment.
Identify opportunities to enhance efficiencies through digitization and automation.
Set expectations and create conditions for exceptional work delivery.
Model agile and inclusive leadership in various environments.
Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct.
Mentor and guide junior team members to develop their skills.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Taxation.
At least 2 years of experience in state or local tax.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
