Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Tax Credit Associate in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in tax credit matters, with a focus on real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits. Candidates in St. Louis are strongly preferred, and an active bar license in the corresponding state is required.
Duties- Advise clients on tax credit finance and development matters.
- Collaborate with teams on real estate finance projects.
- Conduct legal research and draft related documents.
- Participate in client meetings and negotiations.
- Minimum of four years of tax credit experience.
- Experience with New Markets Tax Credits preferred.
- Active bar license in the relevant state or commitment to obtain one.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
