Hawkeye is a private equity firm founded in 2004 that focuses on investing in and developing sector-specific real estate platforms for large institutional investors. The firm's approach combines extensive operational expertise with deep capital markets knowledge to create scalable, best-in-class investment platforms on behalf of institutional investors. Hawkeye is seeking a Client Solutions professional to join its lean, high-impact Investor Relations team.
The role may be filled at the Associate, Senior Associate, or Vice President level depending on years of relevant experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to lead work streams. Reporting to the Partner and Head of Client Solutions, this role will support fund formation and capital raising activities across multiple real estate investment strategies, ongoing client service for existing investors, investor communications, due diligence, data projects, and event coordination within a dynamic and growing platform.
Manage fundraising work streams across the Hawkeye platform, including investor outreach, pipeline management, investor due diligence, meeting preparation, property tours, and fund closing processes. Respond to investor inquiries with accuracy and professionalism, coordinate follow-ups, and help move prospective and existing investors efficiently through the fundraising and diligence process.
Marketing & Fund CommunicationsPrepare and refine marketing and investor materials, including pitchbooks, fund offering documents, DDQs/RFPs, investor presentations, and ad hoc analyses. Partner with Compliance to ensure materials are vetted and approved prior to use. Contribute to investor-appropriate positioning of Hawkeye's investment strategies and assist with events, roadshows, and conference participation, including logistics and material preparation.
Cross-Functional CoordinationPartner with Portfolio Management, Investments, Research, Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Compliance to ensure accurate, consistent, and compliant investor communications. Support fund closing processes, including subscription documents, side letters, KYC/AML requirements, data room content, and related deliverables with internal and external parties. More senior candidates will be expected to independently manage cross-functional deadlines and internal stakeholder discussions.
Investor Service & Relationship ManagementDirect ongoing client service for existing investors, including periodic reporting, investor meetings, portfolio updates, and responses to information requests. Build relationships with institutional investors, consultants, advisors, and other stakeholders; with the expectation to help manage investor relationships and prepare senior leadership for investor interactions.
CRM & Data ManagementPrimary ownership of the CRM including managing and maintaining investor and fundraising data, ensuring fundraising activity, vehicle information, outreach notes, contact profiles, and investor updates are accurately implemented, updated, and tracked. Support data projects, investor segmentation, market research, and analytics that inform fundraising strategy and investor targeting.
Process Improvement & Market AwarenessMonitor peer fund performance, benchmarking data, fundraising conditions, and institutional investor trends. Identify opportunities to improve Investor Relations processes, templates, CRM discipline, reporting workflows, and the thoughtful use of technology and AI tools within Hawkeye's guidelines, while adhering to established policies and regulatory requirements relevant to the role.
Qualifications EducationBachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Real Estate, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
