Our client, a fast‑growing and technology‑forward community bank located in North Austin, is seeking a Deposit Operations Representative to support daily banking operations and deposit‑related activities. This individual will process ACHs and wires, perform account maintenance, complete reconciliations, assist with audits and compliance reviews, and research operational exceptions while supporting the VP of Operations. The role will also assist with consumer and commercial deposit accounts, online banking services, operational reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
This is a collaborative, team‑oriented environment seeking someone who is motivated, adaptable, and eager to take on responsibility. This is a temp‑to‑permanent position with a 3‑month trial period before going permanent. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with an hour lunch break, fully onsite.
- Process ACH transactions, electronic payments, and wire transfers.
- Perform account maintenance and review deposit account documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Generate, review, and analyze operational and exception reports.
- Reconcile internal accounts and general ledger accounts.
- Support online banking, bill pay, cash management, and treasury‑related services.
- Research and resolve account discrepancies, transaction exceptions, and customer inquiries.
- Assist with audits, compliance reviews, examinations, and regulatory documentation requests.
- Open and maintain consumer and commercial deposit accounts.
- Partner with Jack Henry support and third‑party vendors to resolve operational issues.
- Support operational projects, process improvements, and additional initiatives assigned by leadership.
- Direct experience using Jack Henry Silver Lake.
- Previous banking operations, deposit operations, or branch operations experience.
- Experience processing ACH transactions and wire transfers.
- Knowledge of consumer and commercial deposit accounts.
- Experience with account maintenance, balancing, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Familiarity with banking regulations, operational controls, audits, and compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
- Self‑starter with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
